# 32. Victory Is My Destiny

We have power of choice. We have the power to respond to "whatever" happens to us during our life time. While we may have been vitimized, we determine if we remain a victim by our response.  I'm not suggesting we ignore an injury or injustice, but rather recognize that it was an event, a moment in time, that, by exercising the power of choice, we can move forward, become better, stronger and wiser.

Choose to let go of the "event" of the past. Though it may have deeply impacted you, don't let it define you. Who you are who you believe you are, regardless of what's happened. ...And God causes all things to work together for the good for them that love God..." (Romans 8:28).

"Victory is my destiny, victim was my yesterday."
