# 51. Why?

1 Samuel 17:29
And David said, What have I now done? Is there not a cause?

"Why" Is a question that curious children often ask. Why is the sky blue? Why do I have to go to bed now? And so on... But today, I want to resurrect the power of the "Why" question for our consideration.

There is much power in asking and answering that question for ourselves. Until you know "Why," until your "Why" is greater than you why not, success will remain as illusive as vapor.

Ask, and rest not, until you answer the "Why" question. Knowing why you are pursuing a particular goal, project or even relationship is the main key to achieving it.

  1. Pastor Jeff, Why not walk through the valley of the shadow of death. Why not believe God's word because when he spoke in GEN chapter 1 (God said) and it was the outcome was the earth was made. Why not is positive it makes you move on the word! Why is the opposite of action. Why should I (allows you not wash in the pool of siloam or prevents the lady with the blood disease from pressing her way to Jesus and her healing? If a person follows why (do nothing option) it is because they are not moving forward on the course God has laid before you. Then you wonder why what you are doing is not working. So say Lord doing what I am doing isn't working so why not follow you because without You I can do nothing.
