But be doers of the Word [obey the message], and not merely listeners to it, betraying yourselves [into deception by reasoning contrary to the Truth]."
Do something before you say something. Your actions give depth and credibility to your words. It sound simple, even obvious, but because it takes less thought to just "speak our mind," we default to it as the primary means of communication. But we all admire the doer more than the talker, so why not just do more?
Make plans and do something today. Then turn and tell people to look at what you've done. Let them do the talking for you.
